THE TEENAGERS

The Teenagers are a French indie-synthpop band formed in late 2005, originally as a joke.
They achieved some degree of notoriety with the song "Homecoming" for its explicit language and arguably misogynistic content. Their debut album Reality Check was released in the UK on 17 March 2008.
The Teenagers have somewhat divided opinion, with some critics regarding their music as vapid and a triumph of style over substance. Others however have noted their self-aware and intelligent lyrics and praised their lush, danceable pop music. The Teenagers are a pop/trance/rock band hailing from London with Michael on bass and vocals, Dorian on guitar,computers and vocals and Quentin, lyricist and vocalist. The final product of this threesome is said to sound like Kraftwerk doing the soundtrack to a porno film, which can only be a very good thing. Their music is a strange mix between a funky electro-pop sound, funny lyrics (sometimes quite rude…“Fuck Nicole”, “she’s got nice tits”) and potent melodies. Their quirky fashion sense is inspired by the eccentric East London style, and copied by their dedicated cult fan base.
